Campground Overview

Welcome to Sun Retreats Hay Bay, a seasonal vacation park along the scenic southern shores of Hay Bay on the Bay of Quinte. Sun Retreats Hay Bay features over 700 feet of shoreline and 21 acres of shaded woodland surroundings for your friends and family to enjoy. We offer camping sites, RV sites.

Besides superb fishing and beautiful views of Hay Bay, Sun Retreats Hay Bay has plenty of activities and events for everyone, from bingo and horseshoes to dances on long weekends and live music performances. Anglers and outdoorsmen alike will also appreciate our fishing supplies and fish-cleaning stations. Be sure to check our website for a full description of park amenities.

Directions

From the east: Hwy 401 W to CR-41 (exit 579) toward Napanee/Kaladar. S on CR-41/Provincial Route 41/Centre St N until it becomes CR-8. Continue on CR-8 to South Shore Rd. N (R) onto South Shore Rd to Pickerel Park Resort (665 South Shore Rd).

From the west: Take Hwy 401 E to CR-41 (exit 579) toward Napanee/Kaladar. S on CR-41/Provincial Route 41/Centre St N until it becomes CR-8. Continue on CR-8 to South Shore Rd. N (R) onto South Shore Rd to Sun Retreats Hay Bay (665 South Shore Rd).

Our Mandate

Camping In Ontario, also known as Ontario Private Campground Association (OPCA), is a member-based Association, comprised of small businesses located throughout the Province of Ontario. Our Association was started in 1969 by a group of campground owners that wanted to improve their businesses. While the way we do things has changed over the years, our mandate remains the same:

"As a vital and active stakeholder in tourism, Camping In Ontario supports member campgrounds in the Province of Ontario by educating campground owners, marketing camping in Ontario to the general public and advocating to government."
